Exhibit Schedule: NEW - Vanishing Gems: The Amphibian Crisis Amphibians around the world are in serious trouble. We stand to lose half of this entire class of animals within the next 10 years. Habitat destruction and pollution have been steadily taking a toll. Now a deadly fungus is sweeping the globe, often taking every toad, newt, salamander and frog that it comes across. This exhibit looks not only at this catastrophic decline in the wild, from the High Sierras of California to the cloud forests of Ecuador, but also uses a series of studio portraits to showcase this incredibly diverse group of creatures. Fragile Nature: A Personal View Fragile Nature is a photo exhibit featuring over 50 images from Joel's career documenting wildlife, natural history, and land use issues for National Geographic Magazine. Showing species from as far away as South America and as close as Lincoln, Nebraska, the exhibit sends a clear message that it's up to every single one of us to save the Earth. Hansen Memorial Museum Logan, KS On the Land On the Land explores our relationship with the earth, with an eye toward sustainable land use and the true value of wilderness.
