Crested mona monkey (Cercopithecus pogonias nigripes) named Amber at Park Assango, run by ONG Animal’s World in Libreville, Gabon. The 10-month-old female’s mother was killed by hunters. She was offered as a gift when she was still a baby to people who didn’t know how to properly care for her. She was brought at the center and as been socialized with Red-capped mangabeys as she’s the only one of her kind kept at the refuge.
