A female Cuban kestrel (Falco sparverius sparveroides) named Sweetie at the Marathon Wild Bird Center in Marathon, Florida. This bird was brought over to the US on the shoulder of a Cuban refugee who came here by boat. The bird was coated in olive oil so it couldn’t fly away.
