A Schaus’ Swallowtail (Heraclides aristodemus ponceanus) at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity. This butterfly has been reduced to near extinction levels, with fewer than 100 in the wild on a single island in the Florida Keys. The McGuire center is doing captive breeding in an effort to save them.
