A butterfly, Morpho aega, at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity. This pinned specimen is a mosaic gynandromorph – an aberration in which male and female cells are mixed together. In this mostly female specimen (which are normally orange-and-black) blue scales represent male cells.
