A hickory horned devil caterpillar (Citheronia regalis x splendens) at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a hybrid between the caterpillar of the regal moth (Citheronia regalis) and the Arizona devil caterpillar of the splendid royal moth (Citheronia splendens).
