A vulnerable and federally endangered red-capped mangabey (Cercocebus torquatus) run by ONG Animal’s World in Libreville, Gabon. This 8 month-old-female was rescued by the ONG as a very small, dehydrated baby. Her mother was killed by hunters. She is now very healthy and soon to be reintroduced at the park. The species is more and more endangered by deforestation and poaching.

She was sent to the ONG and took a very long time to re-socialize with others of her kin as she was too attached to humans.
