Image & Video Use Guidelines
The 64,859 images and videos on this site are the result of thousands of hours of work, and are primarily self-funded. Unfortunately, we can’t make these images & videos available for free. We are fortunate to work with many non-profits, conservation initiatives, individuals, media outlets, publications and businesses. All licensing fees go directly into funding and continuing the Photo Ark. We pride ourselves on fast and friendly service, and would be happy to help you find the right images and videos for your needs.
If you’d like to license an image or video for an editorial, non-profit, conservation, academic or student use (including articles in magazines, newspapers, and websites; powerpoint presentations; exhibitions; use in papers or reports), complete this form and we’ll get in touch. If you’re a non-profit, a conservation initiative, or a student, please say so.
