An eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) at the Nashville Zoo. This species is listed as vulnerable by IUCN. This animal lost a leg due to an animal attack, but it has been an educational animal at the Nashville Zoo for 22 years. Her name is Hickory.
